YBOR CITY, Fla. – A southwest Florida church issued a challenge for its married members: Hanky panky every day.

Relevant Church head pastor Paul Wirth issued the 30-day sex challenge to take on high divorce rates.

“And that’s no different for people who attend church,” Wirth said Sunday. “Sometimes life gets in the way. Our jobs get in the way.”

The challenge doesn’t extend to unwed congregants, however.

It’s no secret that one of the primary reasons people cheat on boyfriends, girlfriends, spouses, and lovers, is due to an unfulfilled biological need to attempt to procreate. However, it is funny to see churches getting in on the action. No pun intended.

While it’s been shown that women are just as sexual as men and women get turned on just as easy as men, the factors that stimulate each sex are less similar. Generally, women seek the security and safety of a caring man who fits into a provider role. Likewise, men seek someone who stimulates them on a sexual level, allowing them to mate and produce offspring.

I caught this and wanted to pass it on because it applies the same genetic insticts we still carry today, to the financial side of things. If nothing else, it’s good for a laugh. As long as your wife or girlfriend doesn’t see it!

For as long as women and men have known each other, it’s rather disconcerting, yet commonly accepted that women, for all intents and purposes, still remain a mystery to men.

Why?

Well it depends who you ask. While we’re relatively certain we’ve isolated the variable and locked things down to an “xy = z” type of equation, we’re completely clueless why, while knowing the values of X and Z, Y still remains completely unsolvable.

I got this in the mail from a reader and had to repost it. I’ve posited before that the reason we cheat is because we’re failing to realize our true desires and needs. Sexually, emotionally, mentally, etc.

The truth is that in today’s culture where women no longer have to remain buttoned up and are encouraged to be sexual, we still seem to hold true to our fear of a sexual woman. We call them Bitches when they don’t sleep with us, and Sluts when they do.

If you’re curious what “Anti Slut Defense” means, it’s a term used in the pickup community (where it sounds like this story originated from) to describe the tactics a woman will employ to prevent the man from thinking of her as a slut. For example, women will often say little things or drop hints in order to give them Plausible Deniability. As long as they can deny that they intended to do something (It just happened!), they are not Sluts. Great example of the need to think emotionally when dealing with women and less logically. What may come out of a woman’s mouth, won’t always mesh with what her body language is saying. It’s always wise to read between the lines.

With that said, here’s the story. I think I found the last line the funniest!

Women Crave Arguments and Drama

Women live off of emotion while men instead live life based on logic. Women crave the excitement of emotions like anger, longing, lust, and happiness. Meanwhile men prefer to end arguments quickly with logic, rather then prolong it in order to feel emotionally satisfied. This is basic human nature. While men and women can mimic each other’s tendencies and traits, who they are remains embedded deep within their sexual DNA.
