I went crazy for a guy that acted disinterested and cocky, and someone once thought I did this b/c I wasn't getting any attention. I did get lots of attention, but I just had no interest in the men that were praising me. Yes, it's true that these guys will lie about loving you and being serious...Don't fall for it. You can instinctively tell when they're lying, if something doesn't feel right, even if everybody else tells you "Oh he's so in love with you." Uh, he WANTS everybody to think that he's serious about me...so he can lure me in. I agree that you get more interested in something that doesn’t give you attention.
